MS Foods

SK Foods are a retailer specialising in foods such as Fresh Meat, Fresh vegetable, Spices, Rice and Flour along with a large variety of convenience goods. When SK Foods decided to purchase larger premises they knew that their current infrastructure was no longer suitable and a new electronic point-of-sale system was needed to cope with the expected trade increase and to ensure that sales during peak trading hours ran smoothly. The aim was to install a system that was easy to manage and use, and could be kept up to date, with little effort. The solution they found most appropriate after reviewing various systems was the Business Smart Point of Sale (BS POS) solution.

Spice Time

Spice Time has built its name as a company that manufactures and supplies authentic south Asian cuisine. As well as supplying to Wholesalers they also have on-going contracts with various city councils to supply ready-made meals to schools. Spice Time realised that while using a paper/excel based manual system it had two major problems. Firstly, it could not realistically cope with an increasing Customer base as it was becoming difficult to handle each Customers bespoke needs. Secondly, it could no longer afford for staff to spend an endless amount of time duplicating data all over the place ranging from writing manufacturing slips to paper invoices to updating excel spreadsheet and to submitting the same data on-line to EDI partners.
